Acute diffuse peritonitis refers to acute suppurative peritonitis involving the entire peritoneal cavity, which is a common surgical acute abdomen.1. Diagnosis: Diagnosis is not difficult based on acute abdominal pain and peritoneal irritation symptoms, combined with laboratory tests and abdominal X-ray examination, and finally the cause can be determined by the nature of the fluid aspirated from the peritoneal puncture.
Treatment:1. Non-surgical treatment: Position, patients without shock should take a semi-recumbent position; fasting, gastrointestinal decompression; if necessary, blood transfusion; use adequate antibiotics; sedation, analgesia, oxygen inhalation;2. Surgical treatment: Treat the primary focus, clear abdominal pus and fluid: drainage.
