Damp-heat affecting the spleen is a kind of syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine, which can be seen in the process of various diseases in clinical practice, and can also appear independently as a common seasonal syndrome in summer. It is a syndrome manifested by the internal accumulation of damp-heat in the middle-jiao. It is caused by overeating of rich and sweet foods, or by being affected by external damp-heat pathogens.
