Kidney abscess

　　It is often caused by excessive sexual activity due to kidney deficiency, accompanied by external attack of wind and cold. Initially, the patient has a pale complexion without thirst, distension and fullness in the lower abdomen and under the ribs, followed by chills and fever. The tendons and bones become emaciated and blood is defecated; the bones prefer to lie on cold ground; the muscles have swelling and abdominal distension, dysentery with green, white, or foam-like stools, gradually becoming emaciated. The external symptoms include redness around the nose, scratching the nose, boils not healing, and boils around the eyes. Treatment should be to warm the kidney Yang, disperse wind and cold, initially using Wuji San with acrid and warm herbs, and then, according to the improvement of the condition, stopping pain, internal medicine such as Guifuzi Dihuang Wan can be taken for regulation.

　　Kidney abscess is opposite to the internal kidney. It is all caused by the decline of kidney qi. The ones with red skin are easy to heal. The ones with black skin are difficult to cure. If the spirit is clear, the complexion is rosy, appetite is not reduced, and sleep is less, this is a good sign. If the complexion is dark and yellow, appetite is completely reduced, this is a cause for concern. Only careful and timely treatment is needed. Kidney abscess is due to improper management, injury to Qi and blood, and the invasion of wind and cold. It enters the kidney and combines with evil heat, causing the Qi to gather, or producing chills and fever, with a rapid and full pulse.

　　Kidney abscess is caused by insufficient kidney meridian, with slight swelling and hidden pain at Jingmen, distension and fullness in the lower abdomen and under the ribs, and external attack by sexual exhaustion and taking cold.

　　This condition starts at the Jingmen point, with hidden pain and slight swelling, causing chills and fever, pale complexion without thirst, distension and fullness in the lower abdomen and under the ribs. It is caused by the deficiency of kidney qi, excessive sexual activity, taking cold, and evil qi attacking from the outside.

　　1. Disinfection Powder

　　(From Ba Yi Xuan Fang)

　　Cure kidney abscess in men, breast abscess in women, and all kinds of red, swollen toxic conditions. Taking it will naturally dissipate.

　　Red soil (the size of a soap bean), wood bupleurum (seven, peeled), grind together and divide into three doses. Take with hot wine or rice drink after meals. It does not affect the internal organs. One dose is effective.

　　Cure external kidney abscess

　　Use the shell of a chicken egg, eagle claws, coptis, and calomel, all in equal parts, ground into powder. Boil and apply with clear oil.

　　Cure the abscess on the male's penis

　　(From The Method of the Elbow) Use one turtle shell. Burn it into powder and mix it with egg white. Apply it externally.

　　Cure kidney abscess and epidemic heat diseases

　　The anterior and posterior channels of the water valley develop abscesses, known as hanging abscesses. They occur around the anus and bladder, with nodules resembling olives or plums. Initially, they do not cause pain. After ten days, they gradually become hot. If not treated early, the wound will溃脓出血，每天可能需要一碗药。有的甚至肠子腐烂，大便从疮口排出。其痛苦难以言表。近几个月至一两年也可治愈。必须是在结节未痛之前治疗。只需一两次药便可自愈。这种病初发时如松子大小，逐渐增大如莲子。数十日后，如果感觉红肿如桃李，则可能破裂。如果破裂则难以治疗。服用此药，如果痈已破裂，服用此药两次，疮口即可愈合。非常神奇。

　　Use half a jin of powder grass. Internally, use four liang without nodes. Split like a seed. Take the long flowing water between the spring and stone. Soak the grass in water until it is fully soaked. Roast the grass with charcoal dipped in water until a bowl of water is exhausted. Do not break it open abruptly. Mix the roasted grass with another five bowls of spring water. Five bowls of good unfermented wine. Boil in an earthen pot until two-thirds of the water is reduced to a paste. Take it all together. It will be cured immediately. Use four liang of grass with nodes. Still use spring water to boil the soup according to the size of the pot. Wash the affected area three times. Its effect is like a miracle. If the water is cold, warm it up and wash it again. One formula for sudden swelling of hanging abscess. Use half a qian of borax. Wrap it in cotton and suck the juice. It will be cured.

　　Treat hanging abscess.

　　Dahuang Gancao Jie Beimu Bai Zhi, grind into powder. Mix with a small amount of wine. Also treats various boils and carbuncles. For weak people, add half of Danggui. Roast half of Dahuang.

　　(From Bencao) Bai fan (one liang roasted to ash) Salt (one liang). Finely grind into powder. Use the tip of a chopstick to apply the medicine to the affected area.

　　Due to the retention of heat toxin in the kidney, causing blood to败 and flesh to rot, forming abscess. It is a type of internal abscess disease with high fever, lumbar pain, and other symptoms as the main manifestations.

　　The total number of white blood cells and neutrophils in the blood may increase, and blood culture may be positive. There are no white blood cells in the urine at an early stage. When the infection spreads to the renal pelvis, white blood cells may be found in the urine. The results of urine culture should be the same as those of blood culture. B-ultrasound guided puncture and pus culture can detect pathogenic bacteria.

　　In addition to conventional treatment, attention should also be paid to diet for kidney abscess patients. Patients should eat light and easy-to-digest food, try to avoid spicy and stimulating foods, and do not eat greasy food. Drinking an appropriate amount of water is beneficial to the disease.

　　Composition:Cangzhu (fried, two liang), Chenpi Jiegeng Chuanxiong Danggui Baishao (each one liang), Mahuang Zhike (bran fried), Gui Xin Ganjiang Houpu (each eight fen), Bai Zhi Banxia (processed), Gancao (raw), Fuling (each four fen), lead with a piece of ginger, two bowls of water, boil to eight parts, take at any time. For those with headache and aversion to cold, add three scallions and cover to induce sweating, which is very effective.
