The five internal organs obstruction is a general term for liver obstruction, heart obstruction, spleen obstruction, lung obstruction, and kidney obstruction. See 'Zhen Zhi Zhun Ren Za Bing'. Due to the prolonged non-healing of the obstruction syndrome, recurrence of wind, cold, and dampness, causing the obstruction syndrome to develop from tendons, meridians, bones, muscles, and skin to the internal organs that are in harmony with them, resulting in injury to the internal organs and the corresponding appearance of liver obstruction, heart obstruction, kidney obstruction, spleen obstruction, and lung obstruction, etc. It can also be caused by internal deficiency of Qi and blood, consumption of Yin essence, or failure of Yang Qi to circulate, with evil Qi attacking the空虚, accumulating in the chest and abdomen.
