Candidal balanitis

　　3. Isolation culture:For patients with negative smears, candidal culture can be performed. Under sterile conditions, the specimen to be tested is inoculated onto Sabouraud's medium (tubular culture method is often used). When inoculating, slightly break the slant of the tube medium, inoculate 2-3 places per tube, and inoculate 2 tubes per specimen. After incubating the medium in a 37℃ incubator for 24-48 hours, observe, and a large amount of milky white colonies can be seen. Pick up a small amount of colonies with a inoculating needle and make a smear, which can be observed directly under a microscope or stained and observed under a microscope, and a large number of blastospores can be seen, which can be preliminarily diagnosed as candidal infection.
